Croydon Croydon University Hospital Comments

  1. So far I have received amazing care. The staff is very understanding and caring, they see you not only as “another number” in the queue but actually as an individual. Because of my condition I have been numerous times there and always treated brilliantly especially the nursing staff. You are amazing, keep doing what you are doing. With love. Izabela

  2. Had to go Accident and Emergency. Waited 8 hours as was unbelievably busy. All the doctors were run off their feet but lovely and patient and went the extra mile to help when I asked. It was 3am when I was found a bed and even then the nurses went out of their way to make me a sandwich as had not eaten (Jackie) and then when I was moved to Day Surgery ward (by Joel a doctor in A&E who was very polite and caring), I was again just so touched by the nurses and how completely selfless they were. Nothing was too much trouble and frankly that’s an amazing level of care for patients in my view. An incredible team staff who are extremely busy and overrun. And deserve our praise. The only downside is they probably wouldn’t be so overrun if GP’s would do some work and stop avoiding ill people – leaving it to us calling 111 who then can only refer you to A&E…pretty disgusting of GP surgeries but Croydon hospital were superb. Absolutely cannot fault them. Thank you all even under tough circumstances you were so wonderful.
