From the point of entrance the pre service staff were appalling, nattering about their personal lives and previous jobs and how they got there. Ignoring every client that walked in the door. I had one request to change my address and this was ignored.
Stating this was why I needed to change my address for the need of having an address in my name.
The staff had a passive aggressive attitude by in such a way. With such a condescending attitude of questioning my identity that I had shown already.
Somehow doing something so simple had become so hard after coming to the same branch with the same document as previous occasions.
I had called to the head branch and they had also stated I had done all correctly with presenting my finger print ID presenting my account details and funds in my account.
If you enter this branch you will be approached my rude staff that do not want to do their job nor assist a customers waking in.
Do veer well away from this branch it is the worst brach I had come across.
If I can give less than a 1star I would.
Made an appointment a month in advance and they cancelled without notification. Apparently they had called but couldn’t get through so just cancelled without leaving a voicemail or any other notification. Only found out as I phoned to confirm the appointment on the day itself. No other appointments available in the county apparently. Had made an appointment after already wasting an hour on the phone trying to make changes to my account and despite confirming it had been done, nothing changed. If Halifax spent theirour money by investing in their customer service rather than ridiculous Scooby Doo adverts then maybe, just maybe things would improve. In the meantime, bye bye Halifax. I’m off to a different bank who can actually handle my accounts professionally. You won’t be missed.
