I have ordered an ottoman bed from Croydon store in October. It was supposed to be delivered in Dec-2020. I have still not received it. Every time I call them I get an answer that its coming from far east and there is some problem with the shipment. Now they are saying it will be delivered in June. with no guarantee if that date will be met. if you are upset they say we will refund the money. so its easy for them to say to take your money and get lost. pathetic experience. Not going to order from Benson for beds again. be careful about the delivery promise they make. if you need it in hurry pls check other options as well.
We were very impressed with the service we got. The salesperson was not pushy and very patient with our numerous questions. It was a big buy for us and had been struggling to decide what to do and she helped us make a “comfortable” decision.
The assistant was very thorough, very knowledgeable and patient. She wanted to ensure I got the right bed and pillow for me. And not just offered me 1 or 2 options. She took time and on every bed she showed me, she was assessing my positioning/posture laying on the bed from the front and back. Explaining the order process and how to care for my bed thoroughly so that I get a prolonged lifespan out of my bed.
The sale of the bed was misrepresented in store. Said would remove old bed and paid for service then on delivery would only take away the mattress. Had multiple contacts with Bensons, kept being given conflicting information. Spoke to person in store who sold the bed to us, again he made promises as a remedy he could not fulfill, said he would get his manager to call me, she did not and I had to chase her for a response, she could not help in any way. Poor services at best, I would not use this company again. If your going to use Bensons, be prepared to invest the time sort out the issues.
